As a Christian father I want to impart a love of Scripture in my children. My children are currently young so most of their knowledge of the Bible comes from reading stories in Children’s Bibles or listening to the songs on Bible singalong CDs that inevitably drive parents crazy during long car rides. These certainly have their place but children also need to grow into a deeper appreciation for the Bible. To this end I’ve been using the 1928 Book of Common Prayer daily office lectionary as a jumping off point for regular Bible reading. I appreciate the elegance of the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) in its incorporation of certain traditional prayers and Christian practices while also being firmly rooted in sound theology.

On that note, I guess we should get this point of contention out of the way first: personally, I don’t think Jeffrey Epstein ever was in jail to begin with. If he had been, he would have been the only billionaire in the history of the world ever to find himself consigned to the general population of a prison before his trial could even get underway. Are we to believe he opted for a court-appointed attorney or something? Having said that, I am not dogmatic on this point, and if someone prefers to believe he was murdered by outside forces inside his cell, I will gladly continue to break bread with them. If you parrot the official line that he suicided himself, though, depart from my sight and never return. That level of naivete is painful.

Are Jews Trying To Destroy The West?
The responsibility of the Jews for many of the maladies of the West is a major theme of John Earnest’s manifesto and apparently a major motivation behind his actions. Earnest wrote, “Every Jew is responsible for the meticulously planned genocide of the European race. They act as a unit, and every Jew plays his part to enslave the other races around him—whether consciously or subconsciously.” Many will simply be inclined to dismiss this as the ravings of a crazed “anti-Semite.” It would be easy and even understandable for people to completely write off Earnest’s contentions given how he acted upon them, but this would be a mistake. It’s difficult to objectively analyze what Earnest wrote about the influence of Jews in the world, but that is what I intend to do.

Columnist Peter Heck has thrown caution to the wind with a recent forecast: “Criminalization of Christianity is on America’s horizon”. And others in the American Redoubt movement have launched a fictional serial based on the same proposition of a dystopian future. At which every Evangelical GOPer reassures himself, clutching tight his Scofield bible and reciting to himself Lee Greenwood’s refrain, “And I’m proud to be an American, where at least I know I’m free!”

I recently watched a YouTube video by ‘Monsieur Z’ titled, Alternative History: What If America Stayed Great? The video is an exercise in counter-factual history featured on a channel that focuses on speculative “what-if” scenarios. The video’s creator is notably sympathetic with Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” campaign and notes that Trump’s slogan is not without controversy. If America is to be made great again the question naturally arises as to when exactly America was great, and what was it that made America great? The premise of the video is that America was great during the 1950s and subsequently lost that greatness throughout the degeneracy of the 1960s and 70s. This degeneracy was actively promoted by the Communist Party that was secretly supported and funded by the USSR and thoroughly entrenched in Hollywood. The communist cabal was the fruit of seeds that had been planted on American soil by the Frankfurt school, a group of communists that had been expelled from Germany during the 1930s.
