Doug Wilson: Straddling the Fence, and Falling Off Both Sides at Once

By Bret McAtee

There are alternatives to Tribalism; whether we are talking about massive tribes of white liberals or micro tribes of city league bowlers in Topeka. On the secular side of things those alternatives would include massive Nationalist ideologies like “Nazism,” or Internationalist ideologies – Communism, which is the kind of thing that happens when tribalism tries to scale. Mass ideologies, like petty tribalism, demand loyalty and empathy and to hell with outsiders. The only real alternative to an insider vs. outsider mentality is the Christian faith. Because the claims of Christ are ultimate because He is the head of the Church these claims originate from outside the cosmos, which means His claims trump every other claim. I have a tighter bond with someone who is baptized in the Triune name but who lives in Tehran than I do with my next door neighbor who is not baptized. read more

What is Treason?

By Davis Carlton

Steve Hays of Triablogue has posted a brief discussion on the concept of “race-traitors.” I find many of Hays’ writings on theological topics to be of interest, although I disagree with his rejection of Kinism. I thought I would offer my own thoughts in response to what he says in his brief post. Hays begins by noting, “The ‘race-traitor’ epithet is used both by (some) whites and blacks. Is that ever a legitimate category?”

To answer Hays’ rhetorical question: yes, race treason is a legitimate category. That the Bible condemns treason should be uncontroversial. Judas Iscariot is also identified as the traitor (Lk. 6:16), the Apostle Paul condemns traitors (2 Tim. 3:4), and Stephen accuses those who were about to stone him of being “betrayers and murderers” (Acts 7:52). Race is the broadest subcategory of mankind encompassing many people from similar ethnic backgrounds. The Bible uses many different designations that radiate outward from the basic social unit of the family. Several families comprise a clan, several clans comprise a tribe, and several tribes comprise a nation. Nations are hereditary and genealogical (1 Chr. 1-8, 9:1), and are typically named for a prominent patriarch. read more

Whatever Happened to Grandparents?

By Ehud Would

Poppa, God rest him, was a real grandfather. He passed on stories, fables, limericks, work ethic, how to throw a respectable punch, a fear of God, and respect for how the West was won. And he bestowed me my first pocket knife with all the solemnity of knighthood.

Mema, bless her memory, was a real grandmother. She did all that grandmotherly sort of stuff like baking cookies, knitting, needlepoint, and the like. Ever doting on her grandchildren, she yet reinforced Christian virtues with utmost severity. read more

What Color Were The Israelites? A Study in Anti-White Hypocrisy

By Davis Carlton

The modern world is absolutely obsessed with “diversity.” In our Orwellian anti-white world the word diversity doesn’t mean acknowledging the unique characteristics of the various racial and ethnic groups throughout the world. Diversity invariably means non-white immigration to white countries, white families adopting non-white children, and interracially marrying, while at the same time praising non-white communities for their solidarity and resistance to ubiquitous white privilege, racism, and oppression. It’s been well-established that diversity is a euphemism for white genocide. Modern Christians are no less obsessed with this kind of diversity than their secular Western counterparts. read more

A Response To The CRCNA’s Condemnation of Kinism

By Davis Carlton

Recently the Christian Reformed Church, North America (CRCNA) has issued an overture condemning Kinism as a “grievous sin.” The CRCNA has outlined their objections to Kinism in their 2019 Agenda. I obviously disagree with the CRCNA’s condemnation, but I think that they have made a huge tactical blunder in the way that they have chosen to proceed. The overtures are filled with examples of tortuous and in many cases truly cringe-worthy interpretations of Biblical passages in making their case against Kinism. read more

Poll Finds Nearly One-Third of PCA Ministers are Sexually Attracted to Roadkill

Tribal Theocrat recently teamed up with TGC to conduct a poll of over 4000 ministers ordained in the Presbyterian Church in America. The poll concerned their romantic, sexual, and gender identities, as well as their porn-watching habits. One surprising result: over 31% of all PCA ministers admit to being romantically and sexually attracted to roadkill. Some other interesting results, from respondents with roadkill attraction (RKA):

The poll asked for any commentary or personal testimonies that respondents would like to share. The following are a few of these comments: read more

The Utter Betrayal of Institutional Christianity

What motivates someone like John Earnest to do what he did? The standard pat answers are that Earnest was motivated by fear, hatred, bigotry, or some other worn out buzzword. The solution is naturally more generous helpings of diversity, sensitivity training, and tolerance. What follows are sweeping denunciations of “white supremacy” and the all too predictable pleas for gun control. But what really motivates someone like John Earnest? I would argue that John Earnest was motivated by a sense of desperation that was fueled by the betrayal of his future by his nation, by mass culture, and especially by institutional Christianity. I sympathize with many of Earnest’s concerns even if I don’t agree with the actions that he took. The response of Joe Carter of The Gospel Coalition provides insight to why John Earnest has abandoned all hope of a peaceful resolution to our current conflict. read more

Natural Consequences: Kinist Thoughts on the Chabad Synagogue Shooting, Part 2

Are Jews Trying To Destroy The West?

The responsibility of the Jews for many of the maladies of the West is a major theme of John Earnest’s manifesto and apparently a major motivation behind his actions. Earnest wrote, “Every Jew is responsible for the meticulously planned genocide of the European race. They act as a unit, and every Jew plays his part to enslave the other races around him—whether consciously or subconsciously.” Many will simply be inclined to dismiss this as the ravings of a crazed “anti-Semite.” It would be easy and even understandable for people to completely write off Earnest’s contentions given how he acted upon them, but this would be a mistake. It’s difficult to objectively analyze what Earnest wrote about the influence of Jews in the world, but that is what I intend to do. read more

Natural Consequences: Kinist Thoughts on the Chabad Synagogue Shooting

By Davis Carlton

The April 27th shooting at the Chabad synagogue in Poway, California is noteworthy given the identity and motivations of the shooter, John Earnest. Earnest is a 19 year old white man and a member of the Escondido Orthodox Presbyterian Church. Earnest managed to kill a 60 year old woman named Lori Gilbert-Kaye and wounded three others. What makes Earnest particularly interesting is that he seems to be a committed Christian who adheres to orthodox Christian and Reformed teachings. PCA pastor Duke Kwon acknowledged, “you actually hear a frighteningly clear articulation of Christian theology in certain sentences and paragraphs. He has, in some ways, been well taught in the church” read more

Haggling with Aitken over North’s Hayfork: Ecclesiocentric Feminism

By Ehud Would

So someone has dredged Gary North’s broken hayfork out of the stablemire in hopes of selling it to random passersby. And clutching the fractured instrument in soiled hands, brother J.B. Aitken leans into his ballyhoo, assuring us “Baptised Patriarchalism” is a service ready refutation of Rushdoony’s Familism.

Well, now.

For the sake of economy, I’ll only address Mr. Aitken’s points rather than the whole scope of North’s book.

Firstly, there’s the matter of the title. Baptised Patriarchalism suggests that Patriarchy — father rule — is innately malevolent somehow and that any validity or solemnity imputed to it in Christian thought is merely pretext to arbitrary tyranny. Impugning Patriarchy in this way can only make sense inside the assumption that male headship is categorically illicit. But such an assumption is at loggerheads with Federal Theology, the Fatherhood of God (which is to say, Trinitarianism), and the whole of special revelation. Because God’s Word was spoken chiefly to, and entirely through, male figureheads — fathers over family, church, and state. Christ’s election of only men to the office of apostle is not inscrutable. For it accords with the pastoral epistles which specify eldership as appropriate to fathers alone, and only those who rule their houses well. read more
