As much as has been written on the Wuhan Flu by now you may think there’s little left to say on the subject. But tarry with me a bit. You may be surprised.
For several reasons the global quarantine underway brings to mind “the Wandering Sickness” forecast in H. G. Wells’ 1933 Futurist prophecy, The Shape of Things To Come; which was adapted to film by Wells himself in ‘36 under the abbreviated title, Things To Come.
Now, before the reader dismisses it wholly as a work of fiction and coincidence, know that Wells himself describes it as the clairvoyant vision received by his fellow Technocrat, and eminent League of Nations diplomat, Dr. Phillip Raven. Not only did Wells and world leaders deem this prophecy true, but as a blueprint to be actively pursued.
As the dust jacket to the original edition put it, it is their “Great Dream of the Future”.
The first point of similarity with the present is the unprecedented global nature of this quarantine. Furthermore, the book describes the Wandering Sickness as the culmination of various influenzas resulting in a lethal fever spanning the globe. The response to which was to be a global lockdown of society, resulting in financial collapse, and de-industrialization. All of which would come to be regarded as justification for the execution/murder of anyone defying the order of social distancing.
And we now see this very threat published by MDs in regard to Coronavirus! That’s right — if you do not affirm the universal house arrest underway the medical aristocracy claims it as their right to murder you. Mind you, if a handful are voicing it publicly, their confidence stems from the ostensible unanimity within the establishment. A fact hinted at again by “Purge sirens” (derived from a film about state-sanctioned seige-murder ) being employed in various places to demarcate the onset of virus curfews presently.
According to Wells and Raven, the viral age would follow a second world war brought on by consequence of the Versailles Treaty against Germany; and that Japan, of all nations, would rise a central belligerent in that contest.
Perhaps these forecasts are, from the vantage of 1933, within the bounds of ordinary prescience, but the advent of air raids forecast on Britain in the beginning is time-stamped 1940. Which accords precisely with Germany’s first air raids on Britain in real life. If close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades, Wells needn’t worry because this prediction was a bullseye.
And the fact of the international community’s intentional pursuit of many of these outcomes is no longer in serious doubt. The injustice of the Versailles Treaty was known from the outset, and Germany’s consequent drive to war was thereby assured. Moreover, the fact that the Allies provoked Japan into WWII after the promulgation of these forecasts only further suggests a collusion of world leaders to manifest the satanic eschaton described by Wells and Raven.
As Wells tells it, this second world war would also set off a cascade of smaller wars after it.
Although many of the dates of their timetable are accelerated, in the film adaptation when the year 1945 flashes on screen it is backlit by a mushroom cloud. And that is all we are told of that year before the story skips another decade forward. Uncanny even for the most imaginative fabulist of ‘33. The Manhattan Project would not even be founded until ‘39 but Wells seems to have known its deadly capacity and when it would be demonstrated. And even upon whom.
The economic Depression which they foresaw following in the wake of the virus affects a deindustrialization over most of the world. I say most of the world because a heretofore clandestine (to borrow a phrase from Alex Jones) “breakaway civilization” of Technocrats shortly reveal themselves to the remaining nations and fiefdoms of the world. Led by the supposed protagonist named — I kid you not — John Cabal (a term at once denoting conspiracy and Judaism), who identifies his messianic order as the “Freemasonry of Science”, “World Communications”, and “Wings Over the World” based in Basra (Babylon or Israel, take your pick). Brooking no dissent, his one world Humanist order boasts an end to all war and suffering. Even though his order is overtly pledged to universal war on the nations and all intermediate jurisdictions forever.
The remaining sovereign nations prove all but defenseless before Wings Over The World’s aerial dispersion of chemicals. So the NWO wins by means of drugging the populace. Thus finding coherence with Huxley’s vision of the “Brave New World”.
Cabal’s order achieves the Malthusian dream of numerical “sustainability” enshrined on the Georgia Guidestones, as well as mastery of life extension for the survivors. And they begin to develop the subterranean capacity of the earth, building massive underground metropoles. All of which are coming to fruition in tandem today. According to the engineers at the IJRTE, underground cities are poised to become “a norm of the future”. Unbeknownst to most, there are subterranean cities beneath many American landscapes. Surreal as it sounds, the DoD and US Army have been advertising the past few years that the future of warfare is “underground urban” environments.
But Cabal’s utopia ultimately turns its attention to the colonization of space — a project upon which the elite of Wells’ morality play are willing to sacrifice human lives without limit. Which again tracks with the realities of NASA (however much of it isn’t a Hollywood backlot, at least), and more recently, as we’ve witnessed Trump’s founding of a U.S. Space Force.
The film also predicts technological advances like the cell phone a la Apple Watch, as well as the flatscreen television, telescreen-conferencing, computers, and PCs. But these uncanny predictions are woven as one cloth with the prediction of the outlawing of all religion deemed problematic to the world order of Man. Of course, the central faith to be toppled in pursuit of the new utopia is Christianity — a point underscored by the film’s opening in the 1930s with Christmas carols praising Christ’s condescension over against its concluding scene with Man’s ascent into the heavens centuries hence professing a Humanist creed deifying Man.
As an aside, the attempted replacement of the B.C./A.D. calendar with B.C.E./C.E. originated with the book in question. Administrators apparently latched onto the novel terminology strongly enough to make its ensconcement in the language a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Another aside is the statistically impossible repetition of the number 33 in the headlines concerning the Coronavirus. Google it yourself. More such headlines are adding to that list every day. Beyond the occult infamy connected with this number is the fact that Wells penned his oracle in ‘33 also. Whether or not the reader invests that number with special meaning, all schools of the occult do. And in context of a clairvoyant vision regarded as a blueprint by the elite, that meets the burden of proof concerning its significance.
It also goes without saying that compulsory racial integration is inherent to Wells’ post-national idea. And Feminism is portrayed as playing a prominent part in the overthrow of nation states too. While these egalitarian impulses were endorsed by the transnational elite even in the ‘30s, these things were vigorously repudiated by the whole of Christendom at the time of Wells’ writing.
But that congruence between the fever swamp dream of a handful of early 20th century apostates and the present zeitgeist does suggest intelligent coordination. Both by select men conspiring toward those ends and the machination of devils on their collective shoulder. For my part, I believe it must be both because such an overtly anti-Christian prophecy, while failing at many points (thus proving Messrs. Raven and Wells false prophets), still attains a high enough degree of accuracy over duration that it defies the inefficiencies endemic to government. So we are compelled to acknowledge it more than the conspiracy of mere men. We’ve no time for Sadducees (the “It’s all just a coincidence” crowd). It is angelic script. The Devil’s attempt to commandeer providence. Listen to Cabal’s closing soliloquy in the film. His words could have been plucked from the mouth of Lucifer in Paradise Lost. Cabal says, essentially, that ‘It is better to reign in hell than to serve in heaven.’ This is nothing less than the resolve of our own elite today.
To that end, the globalists themselves now describe this age of the Virus as a necessary pretext to the solidification of their “New World Order”. And they insist on maintaining all of the ground they’ve gained through this plandemic. They assure us that they will not allow things to go back to normal.
But good news — it is all a wish on a monkey’s paw. Whatever degree of success the enemy would seem to gain against us it always bears some element of what Tolkein called the Eucatastrophe: as at the Cross, whatever design the imps take against Christ’s Kingdom, and whatever victories they would seem to have over us, those schemes hasten them providentially down the very path of their own destruction.
Others have well elaborated on the various ways this Chinese bug confounds the liberal thesis. This is Uncle Pat’s White Pill.
More immediately still…
It has put the wars around the world on hold.
It has shut down government schools.
It has shut down all the anti-Christ colleges.
It is securing borders more than any legislation in my lifetime.
It has returned all the teachers and women who otherwise work with the public, home to their own families.
Theaters are closing.
It has foreclosed on most Hollywood projects.
Strip clubs are closed.
Human trafficking has been greatly hampered, if not halted.
The Porn industry is on indefinite furlough.
Even all the adulterous work and gym relationships so prevalent in contemporary life are curtailed.
It has vindicated to the minds of many the wisdom of prepping and/or agrarian living.
The fact of it shutting down most churches would fall in the con category if not for the fact that the vast majority of those communions were in apostasy anyway. So their closure too is a net good. Those churches which continue to convene in defiance of Caesar are probably the only ones which should have been called churches in the first place.
All said, know that in spite of what seems like life grinding to a halt, or an inarrestabile march deeper into global tyranny, the ancient battle rages hot all over the world and between our homes. It is a doctrinal and spiritual war, but it is also the desperate rearguard action of an otherwise vanquished foe.
“Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.”
(Isaiah 9:7)
The NWO is not about to blow away in the breeze but their every advance only vindicates the antithesis all the more. Within the enemies’ plan lay the seeds of their own destruction. As at the fall of Rome, Augustine and the Christians saw blessings for God’s people even in the midst of social catastrophe; blessings wherein God gave the imperial roads to Christendom and made unprecedented space for Christian inculturation and martialization under the diffuse feudal sovereignties of the medieval and Reformation eras. And as at Babel’s fall, the way we speak of these things will determine the camps into which we gather as these events shake out.
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
We know not when her fall will be complete, but Babylon is falling. And our duty is to fight.
