Our president, Jacob Zuma, singing about killing Boers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QCILT7NhmIk
Wow, talk about a white Christian’s nightmare. A government that promotes songs about killing whites and forces people to take “sodomy sensitivity classes”? I pray for your survival. Honestly!
What’s the difference between Afrikaaner and Boer?
The Boer volk is those Whites who moved away from the Cape during 1836-1838 in the Great Trek and formed the Boer Republics. They were relatively isolated from the world until 1902 and developed a unique culture: Paleo-Conservative Calvinist and ant-British. The Whites who remained in the Cape were more influenced by liberalism and were pro-British. They were called ‘Cape-Dutch’ and would be offended to be called ‘Boere’. After the Anglo Boer War the Cape Dutch were wealthy and the Boere were financially and emotionally ruined. In order to unite the Boere, the Cape Dutch and the Englishmen, the name ‘Afrikaner’ were used to describe all White South-Africans. The Boere were encouraged to embrace this new unifying name and to leave the bitterness behind. This many of our ancestors did in good faith. But until this day most of the Cape Dutch and the English look down on us Boere and sneer at our freedom-ideal. The unifying attempt were in fact aimed at destroying the Boer culture and freedom-ideal. It really hurts us now, because we are integrated with the Cape-Dutch.
