In the video below, Florida Deputy Sheriff Andy Cox typifies the role of current cops: Armed Revenue-Collecting Bully.
Stopped for not having the correct sticker on his license plate, the driver exits his large truck and is asked for his drivers license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance. When the driver reaches back into his truck to look for his papers, here’s basically how the encounter ensued:
Cop: Why are you carrying a gun?
Civilian: I always carry it.
Cop: Put your hands on the vehicle or I’ll shoot you in the f*cking back!
Civilian: I have a permit.
Cop: I don’t care if you have a permit or not! *cuffs man, walks over to passenger*
Cop: (To the civilian’s wife): Do you have any weapons on you?
Notice that Cox shouts that he doesn’t care about the guy’s permit. He detains the civilian simply because he’s threatened by a non-cop with a gun. Cox later tells the man that he violated his conceal carry license when he unintentionally flashed the weapon while bending to obey the cop’s order to get his papers! “You’re being arrested for displaying a firearm!”
As Robert Fingolfin pointed out in these must-listen interviews ( Part 1 | Part 2), cops are not peace officers or public servants but glorified meter maids with weapons who enforce capricious public policy on civilians whom they distrust. They’re tax parasites who dragoon rather than serve their bosses and customers (tax-payers). They’re order-taking thugs whose legal job is to serve the regime (law enforcement officers), not to protect you! There’s only one type of person who’d be threatened by and wish to murder an old man traveling in his truck with his wife at his side and a licensed pistol in his pocket: a cop.
Did the deputy even have the right to ask him why he’s carrying? If no crime is being committed, and the officer has no reason to suspect one will be committed, this is what is legally called a “consensual interaction,” not a detention (or terry stop). Yet, the officer treated it like a detention and proceeded to arrest the man. He certainly had no right to ask the woman if she had any weapons on her. But cops always ask this when they stop you for traffic violations, which aren’t crimes. You’d think law enforcement officers would be aware of the laws they enforce, but they aren’t and they don’t care. They think their badges, uniforms, and guns permit them to misuse their authority on any citizen who dares to act a bit self-sufficient or sovereign. Gun-toting civilians are a threat to the distorted machismos and bloodsucking paychecks of coppers.
Don’t believe me? Do a YouTube search for “open carry harassment” and find out. If your state allows for open carry, you can strap two Desert Eagles on your side and walk about your business in town. Even if 500 people phone the police complaining that they’re worried about your actions, cops don’t have a right to ask for your name, ID, address – nada. If they tell you they just need to verify you’re not a felon, ask the morons which felon every open carried, then bid them farewell. If they say your stubbornness is impeding an investigation, remind the goons that only crimes can be investigated. As always, check your state’s “stop and identify” laws. They probably say you can strap a pistol on your thigh, machete to your belt, battle rifle over your back, and still tell the nosy cops to fly a kite. But cops will pester you anyway because they want to own a monopoly on force and they’re obsessed with safety – officer safety.
Cocks like Cox rarely receive discipline, and, like most government employees, are nearly impossible to get fired. So, watch your back these days, for these intrusive, aggressive flat-tops are myriad and they’re backed by the Feds. Don’t be fooled by sheriffs who declare that their constituents won’t be molested by national gun control measures. William Grigg argues that they’re part of the regime. Chicago Mayor Rahm Jew Emanuel has proposed to “put the police chief and law enforcement community front in center” in gun control debate because “they have a credibility and authority and a voice on this.” “Everybody else,” he says, “from politician to whatever, take a backseat.” New York City Mayor Mike Jew Bloomberg doesn’t “understand why police officers across this country don’t stand up collectively and say we’re going to go on strike, we’re not going to protect you unless you, the public, through your legislature, do what’s required to keep us safe.”
It should be a first approximation to distrust those whom these police state mayors trust. These scum know that cops are trained to spot informed civilians as potential terrorists, and that solider boys are there to assist. Instead, pray that God would give these armed men a conscience to know where to point their guns, but be prepared to be your own first responder and your family’s primary protector. Never surrender your weapon, not even for $2,000.
Leave the cities if you can.
Remember: Military and law enforcement are accustomed to a government check, not to producing their own wealth. When austerity hits hard and they must choose between finding honest work or a deficit-spending paycheck from Obama’s recent proposal to keep them on the streets doing God knows what, I’m betting they’ll be doing more than threatening to shoot you in the back.
This cop is the criminal not the guy in the van. Sorta reminds you of the British in 1776. they pushed too hard and look what they got.
